The Arts and Crafts Movement was an international design movement that originated in England and flourished between 1880 and 1910, continuing its influence up to the 1930s. Steel Partners Inc lighting manufacturer is proud to hand make lighting that celebrates this unique time in history.
You can find Steel partners Inc products being used in bungalows that are being renovated in areas like Santa Barbara California. Our lighting is made the Old way one at a time using American made mica .030 thick. We take this mined mineral and sculpt each lens to make a one of a kind piece. Although we do not use copper like many of the original mica lantern and lamp craftsman.
Our steel made products look and feel original by using hand applied patinas and sturdy Steel partners quality craftsman ship. Using ferrous metal (steel) allows us to manufacture beautiful affordable Arts and crafts style lighting avoiding the recent high cost of using Non ferrous metals like copper that was originally used in craftsman and art and crafts lighting.
Steel Partners Inc has many collections of this Mission Style lighting like our Pasadena, a Marcos, Prarie, Mission and Historic California collection. Each style can be made with your choice of finish Arch Bronze, Rust, Old Iron, Verdi Gris, Brown or Black. Lens options include bungalow green, Khaki, white slag, Amber mica and white mica.
